Shout-out to masto.host/ who ran my waltham.city instance for years. They have the best minimal web interface I've seen in this space and I never had any complaints.

Also, pour one out for waltham.city - a site I made and marketed to try and get local Waltham organizations on the Fediverse instead of walled gardens. I talked to the city, the schools, the library, and the non-profits, and they all expressed polite interest and did nothing. What can I say, I'm not good at building coalitions.
